KARACHI: Karachi’s traffic problems are compounded by the fact that many of the city’s roads are in a bad state and not exactly ideal for driving. In addition to that, many road users, notably motorcyclists and drivers of cars, have little or no road sense and no respect for traffic rules and regulations. Sometimes technical defects in the vehicle are also responsible for accidents. The point is that unless all these issues are addressed and tackled, the city’s traffic mess is not going to get any better, any time soon.
