PSL final

Letter March 08, 2017
The doors of international cricket were closed when Sri Lankan players were attacked in 2009 in Lahore

KHUZDAR: It is a matter of pride to be able to describe that the Pakistan Super League (PSL) final set a great example for the restoration of hope with regard to international cricket returning to Pakistan. It is also satisfying to break the conspiracies of our enemies who did not want the PSL final to be played in Pakistan.

The doors of international cricket were closed when Sri Lankan players were attacked in 2009 in Lahore. Afterwards, countries were unwilling to send their teams to Pakistan due to terrorist attacks and the precarious security situation of Pakistan. However, the PSL final proved that Pakistan is a safe country for cricket. After the successful PSL final, international cricket should be expected to come back to Pakistan very soon.
