KARACHI: The government’s decision of holding the PSL final in Lahore on 5th March has invited much criticism from some quarters. The idea behind the announcement of PSL match in Lahore is to give a clear message to the enemy that Pakistanis are no more afraid of terrorists and their heinous designs can not disturb the plans of the government to make Pakistan a stable and safe country. It’s quite unwise and unjustified to take the decision makers to the task because terrorists are not enemy of a specific class of people rather they are enemy of the whole country and all people of Pakistan. Though some extra measures are being taken to make this event successful, it does not mean that this match is being arranged at the cost of the peace of whole country. After the successful holding of 13th ECO Conference in Islamabad in March. Civil and military leaders both desire to make this event also a great success in order to restore international cricket in Pakistan. People from four provinces are excited and are waiting for this big event eagerly. Let’s hope the PSL final match will be held in peaceful environment and will be a source of enjoyment for cricket lovers.
