I’m an ordinary citizen of this so-called sovereign nation and I feel utterly humiliated.
LAHORE: March 16 was the saddest day of my life. I’m an ordinary citizen of this so-called sovereign nation and I feel utterly humiliated. How can I tell my children to be proud of this country? What kind of example are we setting for our young generation? The way our government and our military facilitated Raymond Davis’s departure from Pakistan was shameless, to say the least. Also, why was Saudi Arabia allowed to meddle in our affairs, when they themselves, don’t allow any other country to interfere in the working of their laws? I think to be a Pakistani is a curse.
