The authorities concerned must mull over financial viability of initiatives of this kind prior to taking a decision
RAWALPINDI: At a recent committee meeting at the Parliament House, it was decided that almost 13,700 military personnel, as part of the Special Security Division (SSD) and the Maritime Security Force (MSF), will be deployed to secure the $55 billion China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC). At a meeting, different possible aspects were discussed barring financial details. The cost of this very initiative is still a conundrum to be solved. The authorities concerned must mull over the financial viability of initiatives of this kind prior to taking a decision, in order to exclude any repercussions.
