KARACHI: I would like to draw the attention of the Government of Sindh towards traffic accidents that are occurring every day in Karachi. The construction of University Road is underway and causing many traffic incidents due to scattered debris and road material.
Similarly, many discrepancies can be seen during the construction; there is a lack of traffic constables to divert and control traffic flow, there are no safety measures to avoid incidents, and no end date has been announced for the completion of work. Authorities should announce the diversion of traffic through detours, which was not intimated to the citizen. The work has been started without any such information and is taking too much time for completion. I request the authorities concerned to look into the matter for the greater interest of citizens.
