Banning cab-hailing services

Sindh Transport Minister Syed Nasir Shah recently stated the government has no intentions to ban Uber or Careem

ISLAMABAD: In past few days, it was being heard umpteen times about the ban on transport service providing companies such as Uber and Careem. Keeping in view the current unstable transport system in Pakistan, service providers like Uber and Careem improved the state of affairs and brought some solace to metropolis residents. The two companies supply cheap services which someone from a middle socioeconomic class can easily afford. Additionally, their drivers are somewhat well-trained and carry proper driving licences.

Sindh Transport Minister Syed Nasir Shah recently stated the government has no intentions to ban Uber or Careem, which is relieving to know. I urge authorities concerned not to ban such services in the future as the residents of major cities are taking a liking to them.
