NIC process

Letter February 08, 2017
Firstly, the whole Nadra system is online which does not help applicants much

ISLAMABAD: The NIC registration process in Peshawar is becoming a hard nut to crack. Scores of Peshawar residents are facing difficulties when going to have their CNICs made. Applicants have to go through a procedure of long documentation including attestation and verification from different institutions. Even after going through such hardships, the struggle doesn’t end there. One has to stand in long lines until their number arrives. After having his or her turn, the applicant faces more problems.

Firstly, the whole Nadra system is online which does not help applicants much because of slow internet speeds in the province. Secondly, computerised system failures create great hurdles as well. The authorities concerned ought to make the lives of applicants easy by updating their systems and increasing internet speeds so that more applicants can be registered in less time.
