What is prompting Shah Mahmood Qureshi to address public meetings castigating the present leadership of the PPP?
LAHORE: One cannot understand what precisely is prompting former foreign minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi to address public meetings and press conferences on a regular basis, where he castigates the present leadership of the PPP and accuses it of being incompetent and corrupt. While that may the case, the question is why did Mr Qureshi not realise this when he was a member of the federal cabinet? I would assume that he has the support of the military establishment which is the real architect of Pakistan foreign policy.
