AMANZIMTOTI, SOUTH AFRICA: If we call the country an Islamic Republic and call its capital Islamabad, we should not be surprised that the country is for Muslims and others are just tolerated, sometimes generously, but mostly with suspicion. That is why I am not surprised that Shahbaz Bhatti was killed or that many Muslims refer to Christians in a derogatory manner. It is good to know that there are good souls like Ms Darr and newspapers such as yours but the idle dreams of a small minority are not going to make too much of a difference. We love to visit western countries, which are usually Christian, and demand equal rights, and that we be allowed to practice and preach our faith. However, in our own countries we never give any of these rights to our own minorities. This should clearly give us some thought for reflection.
