This vicious cycle continues until we pay heed to these subtle but important aspects of our social evolution
LARKANA: Identity is a psychological phenomenon in which an individual identifies or associates himself to a more powerful person not necessarily praiseworthy. For example, a child who is abused often grows up to be a parent who abuses his children. This process of identification can be witnessed at large in our society in every sphere of life. People who are victims of the jageerdari system become jageerdars themselves when they come to power. People who are victimised by corruption involve themselves in corruption when they gain power. This vicious cycle continues until we pay heed to these subtle but important aspects of our social evolution. It is important for our system to operate in a way that no injustice is meted out against anyone to ensure the halt of this vicious cycle of unjust identification and start a cycle of just identification.
