ISLAMABAD: This is with reference to Shireen Mazari’s article of March 5 titled “A fatal intolerance”. May I ask what exactly is the writer’s opinion about the butchering of tribal people at the hands of the Taliban and what does she have to say about reports (in BBC Urdu) which suggest that drone strikes have support among Fata’s internally displaced persons?
Find me a Christian or a liberal who would support the murder of Taseer or Bhatti and I will find you a thousand bigots who celebrated the death of Taseer. It’s amazing how easy it is for some to equate the silence over the drone strikes to the celebrations over the death of Taseer.
