In the last few months, I have heard of many cases of mobile snatching and robbery
GUJARKHAN: Mobile snatching is happening everywhere in Karachi and no place is safe anymore. Walking the street, riding a motorbike or driving a car are now dangerous due to the fear of mobile snatching every minute. The city’s law and order situation is still quite unsatisfactory and residents are still worried about the lawlessness. The police have not fulfilled their duties to keep a check on these illegal activities.
In the last few months, I have heard of many cases of mobile snatching and robbery. Gangs of teenage boys armed with pistols operate in various parts of the city from evening till late night. These criminals snatch mobile sets from victims and even fire their weapons upon resistance. I request all those who are responsible for the people’s safety to take better measures to protect the people and their assets.
