Please consider this a humble request from a student who faces congestion every time he visits Saddar
RAWALPINDI: Saddar, Rawalpindi, is the main commercial hub of the Rawalpindi Cantonment. It has some major business and commercial centres, shopping malls and fast food restaurants that are frequently visited by the public.
In recent years, traffic problems have emerged in the shape of congestion. It is because of the reason that the roads of Saddar are not capable of restraining heavy traffic and they have not been expanded as traffic has rapidly increased over the years. People are now suffering because of the failed systems and failed policies of the Rawalpindi Cantonment Board. Starting from noon to late night, it is almost an impossible task to find a parking place in the area and hapless residents feel frustrated in trying to find a way to get out of the mess. It gets even worse on the weekends when the whole city visits Saddar and in one part, Sunday Bazaar is held, which results in jam packed traffic.
Please consider this a humble request from a student who faces congestion every time he visits Saddar. I do not demand much from the authorities except the request to devise solid plans for the constant flow of traffic.
