It is just a one-time affair if no permanent gains are in sight
ISLAMABAD: This refers to the article by Anjum Niaz, “Lasting love or a one-time affair” (December 23).
I would like to point out that the lasting love of any prominent politician in our country is only with power. It is just a one-time affair if no permanent gains are in sight. Since our prime minister is more of a businessman, he does not seem to have ever avoided any opportunity to promote his business interest or that of his family, advice or no advice. However, with Panama Leaks taking rounds and Imran Khan in hot pursuit, I doubt he would follow the advice given by her despite the huge temptation the visit to the United States may hold for him, if it comes through.
