Our fellow countrymen are involved in inhumane and unethical activities by serving up tainted meat
LAHORE: The Punjab Food Authority seized another 6,000 kilogrammes of meat in the provincial capital which has been disposed of by the police after registration of cases against the culprits. Although the crackdown against those involved in the contaminated meat business is a welcome step, light also needs to be shed on our citizens’ own ethics. Our fellow countrymen are involved in inhumane and unethical activities by serving up tainted meat and playing with the lives of people. It is hoped that the government will pay heed to this important issue on a priority basis as nothing is more important than the health of the public at large.
