It is upsetting that only entertainers are considered important and valuable human beings
KARACHI: I understand that Junaid Jamshed was a grave loss to the country in the PIA crash, but the other victims should also be paid homage. Their families are also going through a hard time and they deserve special sympathy. People say they feel more for Junaid Jamshed’s loss because they knew him but the other families also deserve VIP protocols for their loved ones. I know Junaid Jamshed was a point of pride for Pakistan but the other victims, who were students, air hostesses, pilots, and doctors, were also assets for our country. It is upsetting that only entertainers are considered important and valuable human beings because for ordinary citizens, there has been little in the way of displaying sympathy for them in our newspapers and news channels at this point.
