Woes of living in Karachi

Letter November 22, 2016
The problem of load shedding is getting worse in Karachi

KARACHI: The problem of load shedding is getting worse in Karachi. The constant issues due to the electricity are making lives of those living in the city extremely difficult, as they are unable to go about doing their daily work. According to sources, the transmission system is unable to bear the load of 15,000 megawatts. The water shortage has also become a routine matter after several hours of load shedding in various areas.

The authorities must take proper measures in order to resolve these basic issues. People should be encouraged to use energy savers and LED lights which consume less electricity, that way their electricity bills will also be less and less electricity will be used in each household.
