I strongly recommend that schools ensure equal distribution of students in all classes
RAWALPINDI: The number of private schools all over the country has increased. These schools claim very high standards of educations and other facilities that are normally non-existent in most public schools. If we analyse their functioning and results, we have to acknowledge that some of them have proven their worth in the last couple of years, despite the fact that most of these schools do not even have their own buildings and are established in rented accommodations — that, too, not fitting for a proper school environment. However, their fee structures are very high and a common man cannot afford them.
Parents pay private school fees by compromising and cutting down on their day-to-day needs. Still, the irony of fate is that students are not given equal benefits and facilities. ‘High-achieving’ students are grouped in merit classes and ‘average’ students are normally not given the attention they truly deserve. As a result, the latter always remain behind other students. I strongly recommend that schools ensure equal distribution of students in all classes, irrespective of grades and numbers because quality education and teacher guidance is the right of every student.
