LAHORE: This is with reference to Fasi Zaka’s article titled “The PPP and media management” of February 15. The appointment of Firdous Ashiq Awan as information minister is very disappointing and leaves party loyalists disillusioned. The government needs someone articulate, eloquent and a visionary to speak for it at the national and international level. People still remember the language used by the incoming information minister against a fellow female MNA, so it is a wonder that she was selected in the cabinet.
