I request the department concerned to take notice and eradicate corruption
ISLAMABAD: According to the Constitution of Pakistan’s Article 25A, the state is supposed to provide free and compulsory education to all children between five and 16 years old. Unfortunately, though, the government has failed to follow through with this obligation. Meetings and conferences are held but no results are seen.
Education is our right. Thousands of children are out of school in Sindh. Hundreds of schools have no electricity, building, and water. Who is responsible for this? Not only is there a lack of awareness but the quality of education is poor across the country. Private schools are beyond the reach of the common people. The tuition culture is also at its peak. The poor are completely disabled. Moreover, we pay all the taxes but scholarships are hard to find in colleges and universities. Meanwhile illiteracy is growing. I request the department concerned to take notice and eradicate corruption in it's department so that our literacy rate may increase.
