PIA’s pilots are on strike because the deal will deprive them of the daily allowance that they get in dollars.
KARACHI: As a curious bystander, I am of the view that PIA’s pilots are on strike because the Turkish Airlines’ deal prevents them from flying on routes to North America and Europe and this will deprive them of the daily allowance that they get in dollars. Also, travel to such destinations is much sought after by most Pakistanis. I have no sympathy for the strikers.
