LONDON: This is with reference to Christine Fair’s article of February 9 titled “Sovereignty over servitude”. The fact is that we believe our own propaganda and the line between reality and myth has been blurred. Emotionalism trumps rationalism and that attitude permeates through every arm of the state as well as state policy. The state doesn’t serve the people, it serves its own interests and then disguises this under the cloak of emotionalism and jingoism that insures that we blame everyone but ourselves for our problems.
