LAHORE: This is with response to your editorial of February 6 titled “Reap what you sow”. There is a dire need for cricket fans to move on and that too in the right direction. There is no use in adamantly defending the culprits and instead they should be dealt with harshly for maligning Pakistan’s name and reputation. It is funny to hear people say that Amir is young and hence can play after five years. But should he even be part of the national team after what he has done? We do not need cheats and match-fixers in our team, and we need to dissociate ourselves from those who have violated our trust.
Of course, all of this will come to nothing if the PCB is to keep protecting and selecting cheats.
