In poor taste (II)

Letter February 07, 2011
What a shame that such coverage was aired at all.

LAHORE: This is with reference to your coverage of the story about the wife of one of Raymond Davis’ victims who committed suicide. She apparently swallowed poisonous pills “out of depression and disappointment over the proceedings of the case”, and died in hospital — in front of doctors, nurses, TV cameras and crew, while the whole nation was watching her in her precarious condition. What a shame that such coverage was aired at all.
