Citizens of Karachi should be vigilant and the government should take immediate action to eradicate the menace
KARACHI: Karachi, like many other cities in Pakistan, is plagued by the menace of pickpockets. In all central or rural areas of Karachi, pickpockets are very common. Recently I fell victim to a pickpocket in broad daylight, on a busy main street of the city. Pickpockets are not reluctant to act, despite crowds encircling them. They have no fear of being caught and I am of the opinion that the traffic police might be letting them off the hook by charging them a share of their stolen money.
Citizens of Karachi should be vigilant and the government should take immediate action to eradicate the menace.
