Amazed

Letter February 03, 2011
Supreme Court had to intervene in the Pakistan Steel Mills case because of perceived corruption.

KARACHI: I was amazed to read a clarification in your letters section on February 2 from the APML spokesman Chaudhry Fawad Hussain who wrote: “Pervez Musharraf is probably the only ruler of Pakistan who has not been accused of corruption.”

May I point out to Mr Chaudhry that the Supreme Court had to intervene in the Pakistan Steel Mills case because of perceived corruption. Further, corruption is not limited to embezzling money. Open violation of the Constitution, removing Supreme Court judges and keeping them and their families in confinement for months are all acts of a corrupt mind.
