DHA collects dues for water, sewerage, running of mosques and security services from its residents.
LAHORE: I live in DHA and despite the fact that I pay property tax to the Walton Cantonment Board (WCB), the DHA collects dues for water, sewerage, running of mosques and security services from its residents. My question is that why should I have to pay property tax to the WCB when the DHA provides all the amenities? Surely, the DHA authorities need to sort out this matter because, from the look of it, it reflects an overbearing and costly bureaucracy.
