The Pakistan government and other relevant authorities should take serious notice of this
ISLAMABAD: The chief of the Pakhtunkhwa Milli Awami Party, Mehmood Khan Achakzai, has made two statements at one go. “K-P belongs to Afghans and they can live there without fear and irritation,” and, “Kabul and Islamabad should exercise extreme caution to resolve the (border) conflict. Otherwise, they should leave it to the United States and China.” Does he have the right to utter such statements regarding K-P when he is a leader belonging to Balochistan and not K-P? He spends most of his time in Islamabad. His brother is the governor of Balochistan, a province mired in rampant corruption at the cost of the poor public.
What did Mr Achakzai mean when he said that the border conflict between Kabul and Islamabad “will be resolved by the US and China within two weeks”? What does he want in Pakistan? His statements should not be taken lightly. Will someone in the government call him out for making such statements? The Pakistan government and other relevant authorities should take serious notice of this.
