It’s high time the Pakistani government curbed price hikes, at least in Ramazan, and gave relief to its citizens
TURBAT: It is unbelievable that the prices of household items are increasing at alarming rates, just because the month of Ramazan is round the corner. Owing to inflation, citizens confront multidimensional difficulties in the holy month. It is disconcerting that poor people won’t be able to afford fruits, vegetables or other goods to break their fasts with.
In other parts of the world, governments reduce prices of items and countries host major sales in almost all stores during Christmas or Easter time. It’s high time the Pakistani government curbed price hikes, at least in Ramazan, and gave relief to its citizens.
