Lahore shooting (II)

Letter January 31, 2011
The case is a test of the resolve of the government of Pakistan to ensure that it stands for rule of law.

RAWALAKOT: The case of Raymond Davis is a test of the resolve of the government of Pakistan to ensure that it stands for rule of law. Aafia Siddiqi was given over 80 years in jail after she shot at an American soldier. Let’s wait and see what happens to Mr Davis — he killed two Pakistanis. The government should, at the very least, see to it that the law is followed.
