Hopefully, the PM's instructions to give consideration to old pensioners while making increments, will be fruitful
LAHORE: Allow me to recall that Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, a few days ago, instructed budget-makers to give special consideration to old pensioners while making increments in their pensions.
This, he deemed necessary because he knew that old pensioners, who had led more than 20 years of retired life, were the most hard hit lot while calculating the so-called double pension. Hopefully, this reminder will bring about the desired effect.
