The affected families continue their lives in agony and anguish.
KARACHI: Almost six months have passed since my young son died in the Airblue plane crash in the Margalla hills on July 28, 2010. The affected families continue their lives in agony and anguish, aggravated by the different speculative stories floating around as to the exact cause of the plane crash. Those affected have a moral right to know what exactly happened to their near and dear ones and some of them have even written to the Supreme Court of Pakistan requesting for an independent inquiry to be ordered and for its finding to be made public, but subsequent reminders have yielded no response as yet. Whether the collective conscience of the people and institutions of Pakistan is dead or alive, only time will tell.
