The missing caps of manholes in Gulistan-e-Jauhar Block-18, Karachi pose a dangerous threat to people
KARACHI: I am a resident of Gulistan-e-Jauhar Block-18, Karachi, and through your newspaper, I would like to draw the attention of the authorities concerned towards missing caps of manholes in the area. This negligence poses a dangerous threat to people.
Hundreds of people, including schoolgoing children and pedestrians, regularly pass by the manholes, doing their best to avoid falling in. This is seriously deplorable. I request the government to take immediate corrective measures, and avoid a catastrophe before it is too late.
