For how long will our political elite keep fostering political camaraderie just to keep themselves in power
RAWALPINDI: Of late, it is quite amusing to hear government and opposition politicians hurl veiled threats against one another. One politician would warn the other that he had heaps of NAB files on his adversary. Meanwhile, the other will warn his opponent not to compel him to make public the anti-state activities that he had been involved in. Is this all just political sparring and blackmailing or is there any substance in these accusations? If these are real, then should the offender(s) not be taken to court? Knowing of a crime having been committed and not reporting it is tantamount to being an accomplice in that offence.
For how long will our political elite keep fostering political camaraderie just to keep themselves in power and take turns playing power musical chairs?
