We need to develop a positive environment around our minds in order to eradicate terrorism once and for all
CHAKWAL: We have been struggling against terrorism for many years. It is a very volatile situation and has made a heavy impression on the minds of people. It has had a catastrophic impact on religious, political and even academic views of people. People are thinking quite differently now. They have become more indifferent and less cooperative. They fear going to bazaars and doing outdoor activities.
If we analyse our surroundings, in case of children and students, we see their thoughts, too, have been changed. They also fear going to school, college and university. They also fear going to the mosque. It seems that their life is controlled by this menace.
We should try to calm the minds of our children and people. We need to develop a positive environment around our minds in order to achieve this. The print and electronic media should lend a helping hand to encourage positive thinking among people. People make a nation and a nation makes a country. We need to make our homeland prosperous. We should make our country a garden to pour its fragrance of harmony over all its inhabitants.
