I request every human to stand up against terrorists, maintain vigilance and report suspicious activities
ABU DHABI, UAE: Just after returning home, I turned to the TV channels and was shocked to see the beautiful city of Lahore in shambles. Terrorists, once again, attacked peaceful and innocent children and their parents, who were just out to enjoy a simple Sunday evening. I condemn such brutal attack on humans anywhere in the world — in this case, peaceful citizens of a beautiful city. I extend my sincere condolences to the families of victims.
Although a few days ago, intelligence agencies had notified the provincial government of terror threats, the story remained the same as ever; the government claimed that they’ve taken serious actions against extremists. The attacks in Lahore demonstrate a different truth. How much longer do the common people have to bear with such massive losses again and again?
I request every human to stand up against terrorists, maintain vigilance, and report suspicious activities to the armed forces, so as to destroy the abominable plans of terrorists. I pray for courage and fortitude for the families to endure this loss.
