There are only a few opportunities for youths to showcase their talents and creativity within Pakistan
KARACHI: Western countries have great attractions and charms for people. They belong to the group of progressive countries of the world. A common trend is developing among Pakistanis to apply for foreign jobs. The main reason behind this craze of going abroad is, there are only a few opportunities to showcase their talents and creativity within Pakistan. Additionally, the establishment of one’s own business with a creative and competitive approach is very difficult, with multiple obstacles in the way.
The craze to go abroad is increasing by the day. I am a university student and every day, I meet people studying in various fields. When I talk to them about their future plans, they immediately respond that their first choice is to go abroad. While this is not wrong in any way on their part, the idea is becoming quite popular and seemingly, due to the lack of decent-paying career opportunities within Pakistan. It is the duty of the Government of Pakistan to take steps that would minimise the trend of the Pakistanis going abroad, so as to prevent the brain drain issue from expanding.
