KARACHI: The PPP tried to shift the blame of Salmaan Taseer’s murder on the Punjab government and claimed that it was a politically-motivated killing. Also, barring Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, no other PPP leader has chosen to take a public stand on the blasphemy issue. I suppose one must give credit to Imran Khan and Chaudhry Shujaat as they did express views similar to those of the late governor (although somewhat more tactfully).
