Government should take notice and help provide a particular location for such an exchange for the needy
KARACHI: A good deed performed without boasting about it is an extraordinary feeling. One such humble soul is that of an anonymous Irani who introduced the “Wall of Kindness” to this part of the world. The Wall of Kindness is a phenomenal charity — a system of welfare, where donors bring clothing and use hangers to hang them in designated locations. Upon seeing empty hangers, others are also encouraged to donate useful articles, such as winter wear. This idea was appreciated significantly on social media, and several groups in Pakistan and China adopted the idea. Actor Ahsan Khan introduced the idea in Karachi, which aided many needy people. Our government should take notice and help provide a particular location for such an exchange so that other people in need know where to go for their basic necessities and can take advantage of the generosity of their fellow citizens.
