Google recently announced the addition of 13 more languages to its online translation services including Pashto

PESHAWAR: Google recently announced the addition of 13 more languages to its online translation services. Among the new languages in its list include Pashto, Hawaiian, Shona and Sindhi, among others. Pashto is one of the major languages of Afghanistan and Pakistan, and is spoken by millions of people in our country. There are more than 90 million Pashto-speakers in the world but unfortunately, the language does not get the recognition it deserves.

We, the Pakhtuns, are grateful to Google for starting translation services in the Pashto language.
