An annual 29 million population increase in Pakistan can prove lethal for the country
KOLWAI BAZAAR: The huge population explosion that Pakistan continues to witness, with birth rates grossly mounting annually, has become a major impediment to economic growth. According to reports, an annual 29 million population increase in Pakistan can prove lethal for the country. Owing to the problem of overpopulation, there aren’t enough jobs and extreme poverty conditions are leading people towards terrorism, arson, robberies and much more.
This problem needs an urgent solution. Awareness campaigns are needed to educate people about the hazards that society may face because of this population explosion.
