The coverage of the exploits of Pakistani athletes competing in South Asian Games in India is disappointing
ISLAMABAD: The coverage of the exploits of the Pakistani athletes competing in the South Asian Games in India, in this newspaper, has been disappointing. While we are subjected to huge news items and photographs of irrelevant sports news from around the world, the achievements and medals won by our young sporting heroes in international events are only given marginal space with hardly any prominent photographs.
Pakistani athletes have won medals at the South Asian Games, which is a tremendous achievement. They deserve more coverage. Please appreciate and honour these athletes by giving them appropriate media coverage. They are the pride of Pakistan.
