Liberal extremists (II)

Letter January 14, 2011
I agree with the writer on the issue of liberals and extremists.

FARGO, ND, US: I agree with the writer on the issue of liberals and extremists. The other day I heard the term 'liberal fascist' and found it to be a contradiction. People use the term ‘liberal’ and ‘fascist’ in the context of one versus the other and not together, as one supplementing the other.

Liberal by definition means someone who is tolerant, accepting of other points of view, while someone who is a fascist does no such thing. In fact, people who are called fascists are dogmatic and believe only in their own views and exclude all others that they do not agree with.

A lot has to be changed before things can be fixed and the grip of the mullahs over society is loosened. A start can be made, however, by educating people about the importance of tolerance, plurality and peaceful coexistence.
