It is a matter of utter disgust to see the nation being cowed into silence by the forces of ignorance and bigotry.
KARACHI: It is a matter of utter disgust and shame to see the nation being cowed into silence by the forces of ignorance and bigotry. It has become increasingly difficult to raise a voice of sanity without being reprimanded for the display of liberalism and being branded a mouthpiece of western media. Such is the amount of fear that one cannot openly protest the heinous crime of murder committed by Mumtaz Qadri without the fear of being branded an American agent or an infidel. It’s not the law that we must concern ourselves with; rather it is the mindset that should worry us. We need a complete overhaul of our society and its mindset.
