It would be gracious of Punjab CM to permit continuation of renewal of old arms licences for senior citizens
RAWALPINDI: It would be gracious of the worthy chief minister of Punjab to permit the continuation of the renewal of old arms licences for senior citizens issued before 1970 at their nearest post offices.
Senior citizens have various health problems and find it difficult to travel long distances, stand in queues in cold weather and bear pain in order to obtain computerised arms licences. Those still possessing valid licences may be considered peaceful citizens and perhaps, be given the traditional respect that elders receive in this culture.
