For the last two months, there has not been a single day when a road accident has not occurred in the Nazimabad area
KARACHI: I am writing this letter to bring to public attention that for the last two to three months, there has not been a single day when a road accident has not occurred in the Nazimabad area of Karachi. Most of the accidents have been caused by reckless driving. Truck drivers are the most guilty of this as they often do not follow traffic rules or road regulations because they have no fear of the law. They are not afraid of the consequences of their rash driving.
Such behaviour poses a significant risk to other people, as well as the driver. In addition, reckless driving can cause major damage to property as well. It goes without saying that reckless driving is a public safety issue that must be fittingly addressed by the authorities.
