TURBAT: The most recent attack on a major news channel’s office is a clear sign of the dangerous threat to journalism and to journalists by extremist and terrorist elements. Journalists show us ground realities up close so that people stay informed about the truth.
In Pakistan, however, their voices are being silenced by terrorists. In fact, our country is considered one of the most unsafe places in the world, for journalists. I urge the government to ensure the security and safety of journalists.
