Pakistan witnessed a total of 43,582 major accidents last year
TURBAT: People in Pakistan are exposed daily to the news of recurring road accidents that cause injuries and deaths all over the country. Road accidents in Pakistan have taken a horrible toll in the last 10 years. According to reports, 15 people are killed daily in road accidents in the country.
Pakistan witnessed a total of 43,582 major accidents last year. Even though the number of accidents in Sindh is lower as compared to the other provinces, the number of resultant deaths is highest in the province at the present time. I urge the government to tighten traffic security and revise and implement road laws. I also request citizens of the country to not disregard these figures and drive cautiously on the roads.
