LAHORE: Airblue and Shaheen Air continuously fleece the public by selling tickets from Lahore to Karachi and from Karachi to Lahore at an average price of around Rs45,000. The fare for Airblue and Shaheen Air for these trips should be around Rs21,000. Passengers flying with these airlines have no choice due to the fact that the industry pretty much operates as a cartel. No one seems to have the authority to check their poor standards.
Similarly, no one seems to have the authority to question the management of these airlines for charging exorbitant rates from passengers.
